Jesse Gao

Associate Director

Jesse Gao is an Associate Director at Affirma Capital. He is currently based in Shanghai.

Before joining Affirma Capital, Jesse worked at Full Truck Alliance Group (“FTA”), a Chinese internet unicorn in the logistics vertical, where he covered the company’s equity fund raising efforts of over US$2 billion, strategic investments in logistics and other relevant spaces, and investor relations. Prior to FTA, he was with Standard Chartered Private Equity’s China team. Before joining SCPE, he worked in the investment banking group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Hong Kong office, focusing on corporate finance and M&A transactions in the industrials and consumers sectors.

Jesse graduated from New York University Stern School of Business, with bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting.
